The beautiful city of Verona

After a lie in this morning, we visited the beautiful city of Verona. We went to the amphitheatre where an outdoor performance of the opera, Aida, is being held this evening. We then visited Romeo and Juliet's balcony..... A very quaint  setting! We are, at present, travelling back to Garda where the girls will perform an outdoor concert. 

Santa Maria dei Miracoli

This evening the girls performed such an outstanding concert in the church. The packed audience enjoyed many beautifully arranged songs by Mrs Thompson and Miss Carr accompanied by an ensemble. Natasha Agarwal's solo performance of 'Lascia ch'io pianga' by Handel was simply stunning. We were also joined by members of the girl's families who flew out to Venice especially for today's concerts. What a wonderful day.....

St Mark's Basilica

The girls participated in a mass in the crypt at St Mark's Basilica. 

Arrived in Venice!

We have arrived in the stunning city of Venice! We are all looking forward to singing Mass at St Mark's Basillica later this evening followed by a choral and orchestral performance at the Church later.....pictures to follow!

San Zeno Concerto!

After a wonderful day in Sirmione, the girls performed another wonderful outdoor concert for the residents of San Zeno. 

Sensational Sirmione

This morning we visited the beautiful town of Sirmione. The views were simply breathtaking! The choir and orchestra performed a number of pieces in the picturesque town square where we were adorned by crowds of onlookers including Milly Rigby's family! 

Rain stopped play.......

Unfortunately, due to severe rain, lightning and thunderstorms, this evening's outdoor performance had to be cancelled. However, the girls are currently enjoying 'Plan B'.... Games and a Disco! We are hoping to fit in an extra concert to compensate for this evening at a later time during the week. All girls are very happy and send you all their love.
