We're nearly home!

After our long, long road trip through Europe we were greeted by the White Cliffs of Dover at 5am this morning! We are due back to school at 13:00. It really has been such a fantastic week - well done girls.... Mrs Thompson, Mr Lock, Miss Carr, Dr McWatt, Miss Ladbrook and Miss Burns xxx

Bellinzona - Amazing food!!!

We left Italy this morning and have just stopped for lunch at the most spectacular services at Bellinzona.... 20 mins north of Lake Como on the Italian/Swiss border. The restaurant was amazing - serving an array of cuisines from around the world. Steak, fish, chicken etc grilled to order; Asian foods; variety of salads.... Needless to say we are now back on the road with full and satisfied tummies!!

Awards Ceremony

After a fun-packed afternoon in Gardaland theme park, we held our awards ceremony this evening. All girls were presented with cards and gifts by the staff for their outstanding efforts during the tour. The staff and our coach drivers, Nat and Andy, were then overwhelmed by the girls' generosity when we were presented with some lovely gifts! Thank you very much indeed. For Natasha Agarwal, Clara Boulton and Lucy Armstrong, we all said a very fond farewell as this was their last Music Tour. Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication to the Music Department. 

Second concert in Simione

Due to a change in the itinerary, we revisited the beautiful town of Simione to perform our last outdoor concert of the tour. The crowds were enormous and thoroughly enjoyed the choir, samba and orchestra. For our finale, Mamma Mia, the girls sang and danced with utter glee. What a fantastic morning! Off to Gardaland theme park this afternoon

Concert in Garda

Yet again the choir and orchestra performed their magnificent pieces in front of many crowds that gathered in the picturesque town of Garda. A wonderful view of Lake Garda was then greatly appreciated by all !
